Bill was Co-ordained on April 28th at the Wild Goose Zendo in East Brookfield MA, by two of our Rinzai Zen Abbott’s, Jun Po the 83rd patriarch of our Rinzai Zen Order and also by his Sensei, Dai En who is the Abbott of the Wild Goose Zendo.

Bill is establishing a ministry within the greater Acton, Massachusetts community to dedicate his energy and “energies” first to be of service to the youth of Acton by offering training in meditation at Danny’s Place Teen Center. He is constructing a Meditation Pavilion in his Zen Garden Zendo, so formal services can be held during the warm months. Bill has been truly a ecumenical person his entire life with formal training in philosophy and many of the worlds religions which included: becoming a Jew by Choice and undergoing an Adult Bar Mitzvah; a full emergence Christian Baptismal; studied in Islam, Hindu, Druids, the Green religions and indigenous cultures; he was married as a member of the Native American Church with studies in both Hopi and Lakota Sioux; was ordained as a Mayan Spiritual Guide and now is a Hollowbones Rinzai Zen Priest.

Bill is President and founder of 1-Blue Planet Foundation, Ltd. (www.1blueplanet.org). (www.werise.us ). Is a member of the Scientific Advisory Board, Layers of Light Foundation (www.lolfoundation.com) and serves on the Steering committee for Danny’s Place Youth Services (www.dannys-place.org). He has grown to become a world leader in Environmental Economics as the earliest pioneers in the application of John Nash’s theory of Generalized Equilibrium. He spent the past 30 years as both a Venture Capitalist and Environmental Consulting as a world traveler throughout various parts of China, Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia, and the America’s.

Bill graduated from UMASS Amherst in 1974 with a degree in Natural Resource Economics. He married his wife Wallis on top of Mt. Washington July 4th 1976 under the auspices of Timothy Leary's Native American Church, the ceremony was aired on the CBS Bicentennial minutes. He has two children a daughter Layla 27 who is an Art Ed teacher and a son Will 20 a student at the Berklee College of Music plus he has 44 surrogate children and counting
