Vimala is a practicing Psychotherapist for a non-profit agency in Green Bay Wisconsin. He has earned a Masters Degree and several related certifications through the course of his professional life and has been an Adjunct Faculty at the post-secondary level. Vimala's interest in Zen and Buddhism extends over thirty years of reading and practice. He has practiced with Jun Po since 1994 and was ordained a Hollow Bones Priest in 2003. Vimala went through the Mankind Project initiation weekend in 1999 and staffed the first Hollow Bones retreat later that year and has done six "Bones." He leads meditation in Green Bay three times each week with the Green Tara Sangha. Vimala has staffed MKP weekends in Wisconsin, has done additional trainings through the Project, and is a member of a weekly I-Group.
His mission is to create paradise by modeling without ego.
